Ilham Akhsanu Ridlo, S.KM., M.Kes

Assistant Professor

Evidence-Based Health Policy, Science Communication, Policy Communication

Biography

I am an assistant professor at Public Health Faculty, Universitas Airlangga, and a research group coordinator at the Airlangga Centre for Health Policy. My research examines health policy; social and trust determinants of health policy; and how evidence-based policy and science communication can improve bridge the gap that often lies between research and policy. Research often has profound implications for policy, but without effective communication between researchers and policy audiences, the significance of research findings may be lost. My research engages interdisciplinary, applying theories and methods between the qualitative and quantitative perspectives.
